LEARNING TO IDENTIFY PATIENT DETERIORATION & TREATMENT

The critical care outreach team and nursing staff at Rush University host a monthly workshop called DART (Decompensation Assessment Recognition Treatment). During this simulation, medical surgical nurses and IMCU nurses participate in mock rapid response scenarios to gain confidence caring for real patients in a real environment.
